Privacy Policy & Data Protection
Addis Mobility Solutions LLC • Greater Boston, Massachusetts
1. Scope & Commitment
Addis Mobility Solutions LLC ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is dedicated to protecting the personal and confidential information of our passengers, healthcare partners, brokers, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy governs all data collection, processing, and usage across our web domain (addismobility.com), mobile portals, telematics dispatch software, and customer service channels.
2. Information We Collect
To schedule, coordinate, execute, and bill for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) and pre-arranged private livery transit, we collect the following categories of information:
- Contact & Identity Data: Passenger full name, caregiver name, email address, physical mailing address, and telephone number.
- Trip & Routing Data: Pickup address, intermediate stops, final destination clinic/facility, pickup dates, scheduled appointment times, and flight itineraries.
- Medical Transit Accommodation Notes: Specific physical accessibility requirements (ambulatory assistance, walker storage, companion escort notes). We do not record detailed medical diagnoses unless directly required for clinical transit safety.
- Payment & Billing Data: Payment transaction identifiers, credit card authorization hold tokens (processed securely via Stripe—our servers never store raw credit card numbers), third-party brokerage voucher IDs, and institutional billing contacts.
- Telematics & Geolocation: Real-time vehicle GPS coordinates, arrival timestamps, wait-time records, and route logs recorded by our dispatch infrastructure.
3. How We Use Your Information
Collected data is used strictly for legitimate business and operational purposes:
- Dispatching vetted drivers to designated pickup locations.
- Generating transparent fare quotes and automated itemized receipts.
- Transmitting automated transactional SMS/email notifications regarding driver assignments, vehicle en-route status, and physical arrival.
- Auditing standing orders and fulfilling compliance verification required by medical transportation brokers (e.g., MTM, MassHealth networks).
- Fulfilling Massachusetts state regulatory and commercial insurance audit requirements.
4. Information Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, lease, or monetize passenger data to any marketing third parties.
Data is only shared under the following strictly governed circumstances:
- Assigned Drivers: Drivers receive only the minimum information necessary to execute the trip (passenger first name, phone number, and physical routing).
- Healthcare Brokers & Case Managers: Electronic verification of trip completion, timestamps, and manifests for authorized billing.
- Service Providers: Trusted infrastructure partners (e.g., Stripe for encrypted payment processing, Twilio for transactional SMS dispatch).
- Legal & Regulatory Mandates: Where required by Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU), law enforcement subpoenas, or court orders.
5. SMS / Text Messaging Policy
By submitting your mobile number through our booking forms, you consent to receive transactional operational alerts regarding your scheduled rides. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, though this may limit your ability to receive real-time driver arrival notifications.
6. Data Security & Storage
We deploy TLS 1.3 cryptographic encryption for all web and database transactions, strict role-based administrative access controls, and segregated database architecture to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
